Durga Puja Celebrations
Durga puja is the most important festival in West Bengal. Anavi in its endearing way celebrated this festival with the residents of Apon Ghar. The ladies were the chief guests at Lake Surbojonin Durgautsav. They were warmly welcomed by the puja committee members which included Bangla film star Jishu Sengupta. They were entertained by young children who danced and sang for them. The ladies were then treated to sumptuous meal. They had a memorable evening.
Anavi members brought cheer and excitement to the children of Topsia creche by giving them new clothes for the festival. The children were delighted and went home with a spring in their feet and happiness in their eyes.
