ANAVI has undertaken the construction of an Anganvadi (Nursery school) building at Attappady tribal colony, in Kerala. The ‘Bhoomi Pujan’ (Foundation stone laying ceremony) was performed on the site on 17th Jan 2019.
Attapady is a tribal colony in Palghat district, Kerala. It is sort of heritage center which is a rare tribal area in Kerala. The area had attracted media attention on national & global level many times. Unlike other places in Kerala, most of the population here get only primary education.
ANGANVADI is a nursery school which provides mid-day school facilities for the kids. Besides education, many children come here for lunch and clothes too.
ANAVI is funding the cost of construction of this Anganvadi (Nursery school) building. Construction work is in good progress and is likely to be completed before Monsoon/ next academic year.
