Members visited the institute on 24th December and shared the lunch with them. This was the monthly lunch that Anavi sponsors for the children of the institute. What made the day extra special for all of us was the amazing performance by the girls. Besides studies, Anavi has always encouraged extra-curricular activities for all round development of the children.
Each of the children was given a Santa cap and a special Christmas cake was also part of the menu to bring in the festivities. Some old clothes were donated to the institute house mothers who take care of these children.
The celebrations moved to our next stop at Voice of World. It was heartening to see the children in the holiday mood and we did our bit by adding to the cheer. The 75 litres of mustard oil was donated to the institute. Anavi also plans to invest in further development of the institute by renovating Pratyusha home which is run by Voice of World.
As we complete 2019 and step into another decade of bringing hope, kindness and cheer to more souls across India, we thank our well-wishers for being a part of this amazing 10 year journey.
