Mrs Cremers, who has been instrumental in helping Anavi get where it is today – spread to six cities in India with a lot of work being done at Kolkata and Mumbai – was accompanied by Mrs. Singh, Mrs. Hojgaard and the group of other visiting guests. All of them were visiting Mumbai for the Annual seminar and the Ladies Seminar which was being held simultaneously. The presentation had been made earlier in the day and now was the visit all of them had been looking forward to.
The girls were invited to AESMI- Mumbai (FPD) office to bring in Christmas celebrations. They sang carols for us in their melodious voices & presented us with beautifully handmade Christmas cards with perfectly articulated warm wishes.
This time Team Anavi had double celebration. Children’s day was enjoyed both at Vidya School and Fatimashray.
The girls were given following topics for skit preparation. Each team was allotted 10mins
1) Cleanliness is next to Godliness – Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan
2) Importance of Extra- curricular activities in school

ociety across cultures has primarily been segregated into a set of hierarchical social categories: the most common being the upper, middle, and lower classes. However, the social stratification is unequal and puts a larger section into the underprivileged class. To strike a balance, it’s essential that the privileged class lend a helping hand to the under privileged by sharing the basic essentials needed for every individual being to prosper to its optimal.
Anavi’s anniversary was made special by spending time with the children at Fatimashray. We felicitated a young girl who secured first class in her SSC Exams. This was our way of encouraging her to achieve the best in her future endeavours. This will also inspire others to do their best.
It was a great day for all, both at Anavi and those from Fatimsharay. Laptops (Capt Jolly from BOSM) & stationeries (by AE staff) handed over to Fatimashray.
On 13th April this year we visited Angel Express Foundation, near Mahakali Caves. This is a Non Governmental Organisation working to transform the lives of the underprivileged children through regular access to educated adults.
Girls from Fatimashray were invited for Annual Dinner. They all liked the gesture and enjoyed the evening.
