Annual Picnic
Like every year, this year too Anavi organised an annual picnic during the winters in the suburbs of Kolkata. The spot, known as Rajpur, was just 20 kms away from the city. It was a closed garden, nicely decorated with flower plants, swing, sea-saw, slides, and all amenities for the enjoyment of the kids.
The picnic was organised on 27th January, 2013. 60 members attended the picnic. A number of Captains, Chief Engineers, Second engineers along with their family made it a grand success. Breakfast was served at 9 am with peas kachuri, alur dum & sweets. Then we proceeded for the games part. Lot of games for the kids & for the adult too was organised and prizes were distributed at the end. Then there was a drinks session with snacks like chicken & vegetable pakoras, and nuts was served along with cold drinks & fruit juices. At 1.30 pm lunch was served with hot rice, dal, beguni, mutton, chatni and sweets. At 4pm coffee was served with biscuits. All the members were very pleased and all are waiting for the next year’s turn
