ANAVI – 3rd Anniversary
On the afternoon of 16 June we went to the Chetla Nabanir nonformal school. Sharmila de took great pain and decorated the school premises with flowers and rongoli. Mr. Pradhan lighted the diya and cut the red ribbon and we entered the school. Mirande sung an opening song and it was followed by a beautiful cultural programme done by the students of the school and the function ended with a sarod recital by Sangita Saha’s son. Food packets were given to all the students and teachers and non teaching staff.
On 17th morning there was a blood donation camp organised by ANAVI at Dr. S. Mukherjee’s Elite Nursing Home . With his participation on this venture we are really grateful to him. Without his help it would have been impossible. Lions club collected the blood, there were around 30 donors. We hope to collect more blood in near future.
