Anavi, in the tenth year of helping the underprivileged keeps doing exceptional work. The month of March saw the members make four visits to institutes that have become an integral part of Anavi.
Cremer’s Foundation, Voice of World and Topsia creche have been associated with Anavi for a long time. We are invested in the future of these institutes.Monthly visits, appraisal of the progress of the children here along with support by means of rations, special lunch and providing goods for their daily needs are part of our regular activities.
Our monthly lunch at Cremer’s foundation was organised on 3rd March. This visit was also a part our assessment of the progress being done here. Interacting with the staff and students help us understand and utilise our resources to best serve their needs.

Two visits were organised to Voice of World this March. One of them was our regular visit to supply the 75 litres of mustard oil. The other visit was for a very special day. Anavi was part of a wedding at the institute. The elder members gave the couple gifts and blessings for a wonderful life ahead. Disability cannot deter the courage of these amazing individuals who have overcome many obstacles. They are an inspiration for us to keep doing more.
Topsia creche has always held a special place for us. The institute has seen many young kids pass through its doors. Constant support from Anavi has helped the institute to continue doing the excellent work. The young ones at the institute were treated to gifts from Anavi. Some are excited and some shy to receive the gifts. But the sparkle in the eyes is always there!
From the early days of one visit per month, we are doing on average a visit a week. And activities in other centres has enabled us to take the message of kindness across India. Well into our tenth year we have accomplished beyond our expectations. Thanks to our well wishers and mentors who guide us – Exceptional is now Normal.
Celeration of Womens Day at Cremers Foundation Sarsuna – The inmates of Sarsuna home celebrated the Women’s Day with a cultural program. Anavi members were invited to the event. We felt very proud seeing the girls perform with confidence on the stage. Anavi has always encouraged extra curricular activities as a part of overall development of the children.
