Active August
Excellence has become routine at Anavi. August was another one of those months that we had our “regular” activities.
From the early days of sponsoring and supporting one off events, Anavi is now associated with the institutes in a much more sustainable ways. We are involved in developing the soft skills of the students on a continuous basis as well as infrastructural improvement projects as and when required.
Anavi members visited the institutes as per plan to check the progress of the students at the institutes as well as discuss other day to day matter. Activity included visits to Cremers Foundation, Voice of World and Nabneer Non formal school and old age home.
Besides the computer and English classes at Cremers Foundation, Anavi also sponsors the lunch for the girls on the day of the visit. The lunch this month included Chicken, Rice, Dal, fried potatoes, chutney and the all-time favorite – rosogolla. The visits give an opportunity to the members to interact directly with the children and assess their progress.
The visit to Voice of World was also undertaken the same day. We have been giving mustard oil to the institute on a monthly basis. The visit is also an opportunity to meet the inmates and Ms Gupta, the founder of Voice of World, whose selfless dedication always inspires us to better ourselves.
Anavi members are preparing well for the visit of Mrs. and Mr. Peter Cremers in the month of September. They have been the main pillars of support in our journey which is in its 10th year now. The itinerary has been planned so that they can spend quality time at most of the institutes that Anavi supports.
We are looking forward to an amazing September.
