“We rise by lifting others.”
GEORGE ELLISTON
As the quote goes we thrive to implement it in our each and every goal towards Anavi.
Like such we have set up a computer centre for the Janvi kids in Chandivali.
In March 2019, physical classes in schools were suspended. Children enrolled in our and nearby schools lost all formal means of continuing their education and progressing onto the next class. At that time we engaged with Navneet education trust to provide digital learning modules for Class 5-9th which could be used to prepare the children for exams.
This program relied on prospective students having a mobile phone and sufficient data availability and was a partial success. At the time of engaging Navneet and thereafter a need for a dedicated centre for digital education was felt.
This objective was realised in Dec – Jan 2022 period by establishing a computer centre close to our Bale wadi.
Today the centre has 12 operational computers and provides educational/vocational training using a dedicated trainer provided by us.
This centre was inaugurated by Our Group QHSE and Training Managing director, Capt Pradeep Chawla along with Anavi president/ Mumbai office MD, Mr. Maneesh Pradhan on date.
After the inauguration, Capt. Chawla had a brief introduction with the Jahnvi kids regarding their learning so far. The kids very enthusiastically explained him about the Navneet education also showed him their creativity in PowerPoint presentations.
We enjoyed watching them introducing themselves and explaining their learnings confidently to Capt. Chawla. In the end of the function we distributed some sweets to the kids in computer centre as well to the Balwadi kids.
It was one of those days for us when your heart feels warm in contributing something towards good work with the help of Anavi. We look forward to many more such events in Anavi as its grows much bigger in helping others.
