Visits to Janvi Charitable Trust
The year 2020, started with a good note with many Activities happening during this period of time.
We also have facilitated the education materials for the kids of Janvi Charitable Trust.

We supported Cataract camps organized by JANVI Charitable Trust, wherein the funds were provided for Cataract operations as well for those who were note able to afford it. Many people were benefitted by the camp.
This year team ANAVI Mumbai celebrated Navaratri (Dandiya Night) with the children of Salaam Baalak Trust, JB Nagar on Friday, 04th October, 2019.

There were total 155 children from across their 3 centres- Malad, Charni Road and Andheri. The event was arranged at JB Nagar, Andheri Branch which was well decorated by their staff.
The celebration started on the grooving beats of the DJ & sounds arranged by team ANAVI. The kids were dressed up in their ethnic attire and full of energy ready to hit the dance floor. The joy of dancing to their heart’s content, the claps of the Garba dance and clatters of the Dandiyas (pair of colourfully decorated sticks) made the evening ecstatic.
Our team member Amarjyot Singh arranged for snack boxes and refreshments. Ms. Vineeta Deshpande kept cheering young kids by participating with them.
The celebration was wrapped up with dinner from ANAVI and their smiling faces gratified our hearts.

ANAVI Team Mumbai celebrated Elder’s Day on 01st October with the inmates of Old Age Home run by Little Sisters of The Poor. ANAVI Volunteers carried party props for the Elders of the Home and played the game of Housie with them which is their favourite.
On 25th of September, 2019 Team ANAVI Mumbai paid a visit to Jyothi’s Care Centre at Taloja where they shelter destitute women. On 22nd Aug, 2019, ANAVI volunteers along with Team of Doctors from Sea Bird Medical Centre, Mumbai conducted a medical check-up camp for over 120 boys at Our Lady’s Home (For Boys) located at Dadar.
ANAVI undertook the work of modifying the ladder at Asalpha branch of JANVI Charitable Trust.
In order to ensure the safety of children at JANVI we helped them modify the ladder to make it safer and more children friendly. The same was completed in the month of August.
On 16th July, 2019 ANAVI Team Mumbai volunteers visited JANVI Charitable Trust to hand over the School Bags for children at both centres of JANVI (Asalpha and Chandivali).
The Volunteers shared a time of brief interaction with the kids at JANVI and recited few poems with them.
It was great a delight to see their happy faces as they received their new School Bags.
Anavi along with Anglo-Eastern staff held a blood donation camp on 17th June in the Anglo-Eastern Office premises, Mumbai. The drive witnessed participation from various sea staff and office staff. The same was organized also as a mean to celebrate Anavi�s 10 year Anniversary.
On 13th May 2019 The Anavi Mumbai Team along with owners’ reps from Ardmore organized an activity at Home for the aged run by Little Sisters of the Poor, Mahakali.
ANAVI team of Mumbai organized activities and accompanied the Ardmore Owners to Old Age Home, Mahakali.
