Blood is one of the most precious gifts that one can give to another person – the gift of life. A decision to donate blood can save a life, or even several lives. As part of the 15^th Birthday celebration , ANAVI Kochi organised a blood donation camp in collaboration with Indian Medical Association ( IMA) Blood bank. AESM seafarers & Cochin office staff enthusiastically turned up to voluntarily donate blood. The event was organised on 14^th June , which is celebrated as World Blood donor day . The theme for World blood Donor day 2024 is “ 20 years of celebrating giving : thank you Blood donors” – the theme also echoes ANAVI’s vision of giving selfless service to society. As a token of appreciation & recognition of the contribution, the Blood bank has offered one unit of blood/components to each donor, as and when required, without replacement.
