On 16th November 2019, Officer’s Wives,children of sailing fraternity and Anglo Eastern staff of Chandigarh office visited Govt. Elementary School, Bansepur, SAS Nagar, Punjab to celebrate Children’s Day with students studying from Grade 1 to Grade 5.

Total strength of children were 35. All the students hail from Economically Weaker Section.

34 pairs shoes, Eatables and beverages were distributed among students by Anavi members. Village Sarpanch Sahib( village head) and his family was invited for this celebration. We could see smiles on the faces of children when the gifts were given to them. Students sang inspirational songs and poems to welcome us.

Anvi Chandigarh chapter had distributed T-shirts too in the month of September 2019 to mark inaugural social cause event of Anvi, Chandigarh. We all look forward to arrange more events for social cause in future.
