Anavi Mumbai’s first visit was to the Balikashram, Bhiwandi in Thane on 21st Dec 2013.

Anavi Mumbai’s team along with the CSA representatives went to the ashram to Celebrate Christmas with the orphaned girls, a small effort to brighten up their spirits during the festive season. The Anavi team was warmly made a part of the Balikashram family as the CSA members along with head of Balikashram welcomed us and introduced us to their work and children.

The team had planned innovative games and activities with small incentives as rewards to keep the girls entertained through the day. As the day came to an end Anavi Mumbai gave Christmas gifts to the all children, most of who never knew what it was like to receive love and support from parent figures.
